Le ROUGE et NOIR se rendent à Montréal le lundi de l’Action de grâce

After a tough loss on home field, a week ago, the Ottawa REDBLACKS get an immediate chance for payback, Monday, against the very same opponent.

Ottawa makes a visit to the Montreal Alouettes on Thanksgiving Monday, in the first of their final three regular season games. Kickoff is slated for 1:00pm.

Dustin Crum threw for 247 yards in Week 17, with Devonte Williams and Tyrrell Pigrome finding the endzone via rushing touchdowns, in a 32-15 defeat. Defensively the REDBLACKS had success getting to the quarterback, as Cleyon Laing registered a pair of sacks, along with singles from Lorenzo Mauldin, and Kene Onyeka.

They’ll be shorthanded, however, as Mauldin will miss Monday’s game, due to an injury suffered late in last week’s contest. Onyeka will start in his place, and in the backfield, Brandin Dandridge is a game time decision. Nigel Romick is also out, with an ankle injury.

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION

Montreal can sweep the season series with the REDBLACKS, with a win on Monday. Cody Fajardo logged 178 yards through the air, and a touchdown throw to Tyson Philpot. William Stanback rushed for 85 yards and a major, while defensively, Marc-Antoine Dequoy, and Shawn Lemon also scored touchdowns.

For the Als, Kaion Julien-Grant will miss the game with a shoulder injury, and Stanback is listed as questionable due to illness. Kicker David Cote is also questionable, due to a hip injury.
